First steps
- Install and set upInstall SALTYDATA, enter your company details, choose the language and, if you like, protect access with a PIN or password.
- Add a vehicleClick on “Add new vehicle”, choose the vehicle type and photograph the registration document – the AI fills in the data.
- Add photosScan the QR code with your phone and take the photos – they appear directly at the vehicle.

Questions & answers
Is SALTYDATA really free?
Yes. With up to 3 vehicles in stock you can use SALTYDATA with all features for free – with no time limit. Only for more vehicles do you need the monthly or yearly plan. The limit applies to the free version only – the software itself easily handles 1,000 vehicles and more.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
No. Neither the monthly nor the yearly plan renews automatically. We remind you 48 hours before it expires and you extend with one click if you want to.
Which computers does SALTYDATA run on?
SALTYDATA currently runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. A Mac version is coming soon.
How does the voziti.eu integration work?
Connect your voziti.eu dealer account once. After that you can list any vehicle with one click. If a vehicle is sold on voziti.eu, SALTYDATA notices it – and if you mark a vehicle as sold in SALTYDATA, the listing on voziti.eu ends.
Which registration documents can the AI read?
Registration certificates and titles from all over Europe, as well as certificates of conformity (CoC). Values the AI is not sure about are marked, so you can check them before taking them over.
Where is my data stored?
On your own PC. Your vehicle and customer data stays with you. You can create a backup at any time with one click.
Can I use SALTYDATA on several PCs?
Your data is stored on the PC on which SALTYDATA is installed. With the backup function you can move your data to another PC at any time.
What happens when my subscription expires?
Nothing gets lost. Your data stays readable, you just cannot add or change vehicles until you extend. With up to 3 vehicles SALTYDATA remains free anyway.
How does the phone upload work?
Wherever images can be added, a QR code appears. Scan it with your phone camera, take photos or choose them from the gallery – they appear in SALTYDATA within seconds. It also works over mobile data.
Which vehicle types are supported?
Cars, vans and trucks (including buses), trailers, motorbikes as well as scooters and mopeds – new and used.
Which documents can I print?
Price tags, sales contracts (11 national versions), test drive agreements with damage sketches, workshop orders and status lists – all as PDF.
Which languages does SALTYDATA support?
SALTYDATA is available in all European languages plus English. You can switch the language at any time in the settings.
How do I pay?
Conveniently online when booking the monthly or yearly plan. You receive an invoice by e-mail.
